Snow & Ashes Perfume
Bracing winter air, snow clinging to branches, smoke from the wood stove carried on the bitter wind. Smoky, cold, green.
I think of this as a complement to my Fireplace perfume- they're two versions of the same story. Fireplace is wintertime in my childhood home- smoke and heat from the wood stove, pomanders hung by the fireplace, the family gathering together, laughter and warmth. Snow & Ashes is going out into the cold to collect more firewood, your breath making little clouds in the air, the muffled silence of the falling snow, damp evergreen branches dipping overhead. Two perspectives of the same scene: indoor/outdoor, warm/cold, together/alone.

Firebird perfume oils are concentrated fragrance in a base of fractionated coconut oil- super light, quickly absorbed, and non-staining. Because they're rolled on instead of sprayed, the scent is worn closer to the body than typical alcohol-based sprays- so you're not going to knock over everyone you walk past (which is a good thing, right?) The scent also doesn't evaporate as quickly as with alcohol-based perfumes, and you don't have to wait for the alcohol smell to dissipate before you get the true scent of the perfume.
